Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a growing machine shop in Oklahoma City, OK . This role focuses on machining API connections on stainless steel materials using manual lathe equipment while maintaining high standards for quality, precision, and safety.

The ideal Manual Machinist is mechanically inclined, dependable, and capable of working independently in a small shop environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous manual machining experience REQUIRED
• Experience operating manual lathes preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform precision inspections
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate manual lathe machines to machine API connections on stainless steel materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and machining specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Load, unload, and move materials using a sit-down forklift as needed
• Maintain machining equipment and work areas in proper condition
• Follow all company safety procedures and shop policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards

Work Environment
• Machine shop and manufacturing environment
• Exposure to machining equipment, cutting tools, metal materials, oils, and production activity
• Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movement
• Small shop environment with opportunities for independent work
