Sr. Quality Control Technician

responsibilities:

• Perform rapid, accurate quality inspections on preproduction materials and finished goods, transacting items in the ERP system.
• Document nonconformances and support material disposition to the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Partner with manufacturing and quality engineering to establish criteria and implement inspection procedures.
• Communicate quality findings quickly to purchasing, manufacturing, and leadership teams.
• Utilize specialized tools (microscopes, calipers, micrometers) to inspect items against technical drawings and schematics.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action processes.

 
qualifications:



Required:

• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and manufacturing assembly.
• Proficiency reading mechanical drawings, layouts, and wiring schematics.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Experience navigating ERP systems, Agile PLM, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to meet physical demands: lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders or kneeling.

Preferred:

• Associate of Science degree or technology-related field equivalent.
