​Title: Manager, Financial ReportingCompany OverviewOur client is a utility-scale clean energy platform focused on developing, commercializing, constructing, and operating utility-scale solar plus battery storage projects in targeted U.S. energy markets.They have an experienced management team in position with a track record of developing and commercializing 10 GW+ of utility-scale power projects and a collective 100+ years’ experience across critical competencies, including power markets, offtake structuring, design, engineering and real estate, with such expertise being put towards our 15+ GW portfolio of utility scale renewable energy projects across the U.S., including 485 MW of in-construction and operational projects.The RoleWe're seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to lead technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination. This is a technical, audit-focused role responsible for the preparation of audited and unaudited financial statements across multiple legal entities and serving as a primary liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters. It is distinct from the Manager, Accounting role, which manages day-to-day accounting operations, the interim close process, and team leadership.The role will partner closely with Corporate Finance & Compliance, Tax, FP&A, and Project Finance to ensure alignment between reporting and the underlying accounting records, and will support the implementation of, and ongoing compliance with, internal controls over financial reporting as the Company scales. The position will report to the Director, Corporate Accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage preparation and review of annual audited financial statements and interim financial reporting across multiple entitiesLead day-to-day coordination with external auditors, including management of PBC requests, schedules, and audit timelinesResearch and document technical accounting matters (U.S. GAAP), including preparation of accounting memosOversee application of accounting policies across complex transactions (e.g., consolidations, equity, debt, and project-level arrangements)Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and consistency across reporting entitiesMaintain and enhance accounting policies and technical accounting documentationSupport implementation and ongoing compliance with internal controls over financial reportingPartner with FP&A and Corporate Finance & Compliance to ensure alignment between reporting and underlying accounting recordsIdentify and implement improvements in financial reporting processes and audit readinessEducation and Qualifications5–7 years of accounting experienceStrong preference for public accounting background (audit focus), ideally Big 4 or equivalentBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required or strongly preferredExtensive experience with U.S. GAAP and audited financial statements in a multi-entity environmentDemonstrated experience managing audit processes and interacting with external auditorsStrong technical accounting research and memo-writing skillsAbility to operate with high precision under audit scrutinyBackground in energy, infrastructure, or project finance structuresEmployee BenefitsThe salary for this position is highly competitive and commensurate with experience.We offer competitive benefits, including unlimited paid time off, paid holidays, cell-phone stipend, 401K and a fully benefits plan for employees, including Medical, Dental, and Vision, and Life Insurance.Discipline(s): Renewable Energy, Grid and Storage, Energy Finance, ESG and SustainabilityJob type: Permanent
