Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory evaluations covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other essential tests in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure the precision of results by thorough analysis, troubleshooting discrepancies, and managing preventative maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Be involved in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and help uphold the quality standards of the lab.
• Keep a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your time of employment.
