Description - What You'll Do

• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for further analysis when needed.
• Meticulously document all procedures, guide new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining lab quality assurance.
• Ensure a tidy, secure work environment and comply with necessary regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree in conjunction with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your start date.
• Keep your certification current throughout your tenure.
