Substitute - Health Technician

THE NEED

Substitute Health Technician positions are on-call, as-needed assignments that provide coverage for day-to-day employee absences and limited-term vacancies or assignments. Substitutes may be assigned to elementary, middle, or high school campuses throughout Ventura Unified School District.

Assignments vary based on District needs. A typical assignment is approximately 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; however, hours, locations, and frequency of work may vary. Substitute positions do not have a guaranteed number of hours or assignments.
