Accounting Supervisor

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that's looking for an Accounting Supervisor . Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, analytical, and excellent communication skills. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and manage the A/P and A/R teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial processes and enhance efficiency. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to payments and collections. Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators. Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. The Accounting Supervisor will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
