Registered NurseLocation: Labor & Delivery Schedule: Per DiemRegistered Nurses in Labor and Delivery provide the highest quality of care to our diverse patient population. Our L&D team has a strong quality improvement focus and our nurses are always developing unique solutions for their patients.Job Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional nursing care in the, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patientsCommunicate with various health care team members, patients, and familiesCoordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleaguesUpdate and manage patient recordsEnter and interpret computerized data/informationFollow guidelines and policies established by the BMCHS nursing organizationAssist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projectsJob Requirements:Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 yearsCertification in basic life support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS)Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certificationAssociation of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Intermediate or Advance Certification2 years' experience Labor and DeliveryExperience with electronic health record preferredEffective verbal and written communication skillsPhysical ability to meet job responsibilities.Basic computer proficiency.Fluency in another language a plus.Job Benefits:Competitive payStaff self-schedulingWeekend/Night shift differentialsHighly subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance optionsSupportive work environment with a focus on training, professional development, and growthCompensation Range: $39.80- $93.69This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
