PHYSICIAN (OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE)

Duties
Perform occupational physical examinations of various types including pre-placement, medical surveillance, medical qualification, disability retirement, fitness for duty, and any other special employee examinations that may be required.
Counsel employees on workplace hazards and exam results.
Notify management of exam results and recommends appropriate work restrictions/accommodations.
Interpret ancillary test results for evidence of possible occupational disease or confounding personal health conditions.
Serve as member of the professional medical staff and provides advisory and consultative services on various meetings, committees, conferences, and/or boards.
