Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant production equipment. This position will troubleshoot equipment issues, complete preventive maintenance, and help ensure production systems operate safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, frequency drives, servo motors, refrigeration, boilers, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Identify needed repairs and estimate materials and costs.
• Use maintenance tools, instruments, and equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate repair records and inventories.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work effectively with team members, technicians, and outside vendors.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• At least two years of related maintenance experience or a technical degree.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with food manufacturing, sanitary design, preventive maintenance, or 5S is a plus.
• Ability to work alternative schedules and assigned shifts.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform other physical tasks required in a manufacturing environment.
