NAPA is seeking per diem Anesthesiologists to join their dedicated team at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. This role involves providing essential anesthesia services for a diverse range of surgical cases, contributing to a compassionate community of anesthesia professionals. Practice Info Located at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) in Niagara Falls, New York. NFMMC is a leader in cardiovascular, women's health care, bariatric weight loss, and primary care. Offers a full range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, laboratory, and imaging services. Case assignments include general and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal and colorectal cases, orthopedic, neurology & spine, gynecology, urology, and plastics. Physicians work collaboratively with nurse anesthetists in a care team model. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment. Obtains and/or verifies patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed. Compensation W2 per diem hourly rate: $275/hour. 1099 hourly rate: $295/hour. Completion bonus offered for hours worked. Requirements M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine. ECFMG and FLEX. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician.
