This full-time position runs from 8am to 3pm throughout the entire school year, offering you a chance to make a lasting difference in developing communication skills among young children.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with early learners and preschool-aged children, is a plus
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Dedication to fostering language development in diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy to EL and preschool caseloads
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate progress records and documentation as required by school regulations
- Participate in meetings and professional development throughout the school year
- Support students in achieving speech and language goals using evidence-based practices within classroom and small-group settings
