Make a real difference by providing impactful speech-language services to elementary students in the Buffalo, NY area. This rewarding contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists holding the CCC credential who are enthusiastic about supporting young learners in a flexible, community-based environment. Enjoy the unique experience of conducting in-home visits and helping K-4th grade students achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CCC-SLP certification and active state licensure
- Experience or strong interest in working with children in grades K-4
- Ability to travel for in-home sessions within the Buffalo, NY vicinity
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Professionalism and compassion for families and students
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct speech and language therapy during in-home sessions (seven per week)
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with families to reinforce learning and follow-up at home
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of progress and session notes
- Communicate effectively and proactively with school-based and district personnel as needed
