Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent and independent Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role, specializing in the Emergency Room/Emergency Department, involves providing routine and complex care in a dynamic clinical setting. Candidates will work closely with other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, preferred
• Current RN License in state of TX or compact
• BLS required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required (AHA only)
