Employee Benefits Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting a local client, recruiting for an Employee Benefits Specialist in Davis, CA. This Employee Benefits Specialist position has a starting pay range of $27.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience! Job Responsibilities: Administer recurring billing and chargeback processes in an accurate and timely manner with HR and Accounting Help to plan, organize and oversee all open enrollment activities for group healthcare and insurance benefit plans Process employee enrollments and any changes accurately and in a timely manner Ensure timely and clear communication to employees regarding benefits and retirement-related questions and concerns Coordinate the annual renew process with insurance broker/consultant Coordinate all health & welfare plan IRS Form 5500 filings and ensure timely funding of payments to the government Coordinate and administer full compliance with all Affordable Care Act filings, forms, and fees, in addition, help to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all required IRS and DOL employee notices Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to ensure adequate funding of applicable bank accounts and reporting Assist with the development and documentation of all health & welfare benefits procedures. Suggest process improvements when appropriate Administer and coordinate the development of the Wellness Program Work with third party administrator and insurance companies to resolve errors, discrepancies, claim disputes, enrollments, and terminations Identify legal requirements and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with local state and federal law. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this Employee Benefits Specialist role: 2 – 3 years of related work experience in Benefits Administration Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) with emphasis in any one or more of the following: human resources, information systems, accounting or finance Employee Benefits certifications from CEBS or World at Work is a plus. The starting pay range for this Employee Benefits Specialist is $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience.
