Job Overview - Registered Nurse (RN)
Compensation: $115,000-$150,000/year
Location: Westchester County, NY
Schedule: Full-Time Day or Night Shifts (In-Office)
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in Westchester County, NY for our client, providing direct patient care within hospital-based surgical, operating room, and labor and delivery settings. Multiple full-time opportunities are available across specialty units and shifts, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, clinical interventions, patient safety, and interdisciplinary care coordination. The ideal candidate is a New York-licensed Registered Nurse with required hospital experience and strong acute care, clinical assessment, and patient care skills.


Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):

• Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with patient needs, treatment plans, and established clinical standards.
• Patient Assessment: Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Care Coordination: Develop and support individualized care plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, assessments, interventions, and other required clinical documentation.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, quality, and regulatory standards throughout care delivery.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Certification: Current BLS certification is required, with additional clinical certifications required based on specialty or unit.
• Experience: Previous hospital or acute care nursing experience is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of patient assessment, acute care nursing, infection control, patient safety, and current nursing standards is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience with electronic health records, clinical documentation, patient monitoring, and standard nursing equipment is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, assessment, communication, teamwork, organization, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment are required.
