In-Process Inspector - 1st Shift

TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.Position Scope:Under limited supervision, the Quality Assurance Tech gathers and compiles build / technical data into a comprehensive deliverables package in accordance with industry and/or customer standards. Coordinates with multiple departments within TTM to ensure data presented is complete and entirely accurate. The incumbent must be able to train on 1st shift hours. Position located at 6457 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057.Duties and Responsibilities:Works to develop customer relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity.Listens to and understands customer requirements taking prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectations.Review and verify QC deliverables before presenting to designated customer representatives.Interface with the supplier quality, receiving, procurement, and additional production departments to obtain and compile all necessary documentation required for source inspection package.Consistently work on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative to resolve issues.Interface with the TTM quality control team on the input and review of inspection data for items subject to the procurement requirements.Perform inspections using various mechanical and electrical measuring devices.Perform all other related duties as assigned.Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements :Ability to perform assigned tasks independently with limited supervisionAbility to read and understand PCB drawingsAbility to perform repetitive tasks accuratelyMust be a detailed oriented individualAbility to use measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, or CMM equipmentAbility to work both independently or as part of a teamDemonstrates ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environmentAbility to accurately perform basic computer tasksRequires understanding of related inter-department processesAbility to collect data and update measurementsStrong communication skills in English-verbal & written, planning, and organizational skills.Strong computer skills and technical aptitudeAbility to manage multiple administrative and written tasks professionally and accurately within designated timelines.Work in fast pace environment and be able to switch between different tasks.Must be able to handle interruptions to work flow as necessary to accommodate requests.Education and Experience :Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Compensation and Benefits:TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$47,243 - $74,675Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
