Shifts: 7PM - 7AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to post-surgical patients with a focus on orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations. Successful candidates will practice independently and manage clinical situations effectively in a Med Surg environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Willingness to float between units as needed
