Senior NPI Packaging Program Manager – Key Accounts Location: Santa Clara, CA. Company Overview RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. Responsibilities Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and performance management for key client accounts. Develop and maintain client relationships and deliverables, ensuring factory execution at target costs and on schedule. Coordinate packaging design resources: account coordination, structural design, graphics inspection, press checks, design validation, and process creation. Analyze reliability test reports and provide technical solutions. Participate in pricing negotiations, shaping costing models and communicating requirements. Maintain post‑ramp contact with customers to drive continuous improvement, innovation and cost‑downs. Provide tactical management support, documenting customer issues, needs and opportunities. Resolve production issues for customer products. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronic, Packaging Engineering or related field, or equivalent. At least 5 years of progressive, related work experience. Experience reviewing business initiatives, weighing costs, benefits, risks and opportunities. Design and execute solutions in Design, Print, Packaging, Supply Chain, Logistics for Global Consumer Electronics. Engineering precision graphic packaging and presenting comprehensive commercial, design and manufacturing strategies. Cross‑functional, cross‑divisional, and international team collaboration, especially with China‑based manufacturing. Design for Manufacturing, workflow definition, Master Issue List (MIL), SOPs, and manufacturing/inspection planning and DFMs. Analysis of reports and data to identify revenue and cost‑containment opportunities. Working with clients and internal teams on new products from concept through mass production. Understanding of test reports and quality data to meet client specifications. Ability to work independently on flexible schedules supporting customers in Europe and Asia. Cross‑cultural and multilingual teamwork experience. Additional Information Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week; up to 30% domestic and international travel required. Benefits Salary: $171,000 per year. Base salary may be supplemented by bonus, commission or incentive programs.
