This is an opportunity for a journalist who thrives on breaking news, compelling storytelling, and creating content that connects with Hispanic audiences across the United States and Latin America. Essential Functions Report on breaking news, enterprise stories, and major national events across the U.S. and Latin America. Produce accurate, engaging, and compelling stories for streaming, digital, and social media platforms. Deliver live reports and interviews from the field. Write clear, concise, and broadcast-quality scripts in native-level Spanish. Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, and digital teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom. Create platform-specific content for social media before, during, and after live coverage. Build and maintain a strong network of sources and community contacts. Job Requirements Required Education and Experience Minimum 3 years of reporting experience at a Hispanic television network or national Spanish-language news organization. Native-level fluency in spoken and written Spanish; English proficiency is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. Hispanic, Latin American, and international news. Excellent live reporting, storytelling, interviewing, and writing skills. Tech-savvy with experience using mobile journalism tools, digital newsrooms, and social media platforms. Passion for creating content that resonates with today's digital-first audiences. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, breaking news environment. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during major news events. Willingness to travel frequently for breaking news and special assignments.
