Description Part‑Time Speech Therapist (SLP) Taconic at Hopewell | Hopewell Junction, NY Part‑Time | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | $38.00/hour-$44.12/hour Taconic at Hopewell is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part‑Time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The SLP collaborates with the care team to improve safety, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized care plans Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend safe dietary modifications Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and rehabilitation teams Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Support quality measures and patient outcome goals Qualifications Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology Current SLP license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred Experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute care preferred Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Schedule Part‑time with flexible hours Potential for additional hours based on census and program needs Competitive hourly rate Supportive team environment Continuing education opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
