- Job Title: Direct Support Professional II
- Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $19.50/hr DOE.
- Shifts: Full-Time PM Shifts Thursday - Monday, and Wednesday - Friday PM, Saturday - Sunday AM
- Location: Covina, CA 91724
- Work Setting: One Location (Not Remote)

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional I & II, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, supporting independence, health, and personal growth.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dietary, and dressing needs
- Supporting clients with bathroom needs
- Changing clothing/undergarments when necessary
- Preparing meals and completing cleanup
- Following daily routines outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP)
- Redirecting behaviors through activities like walking, reading, games, math, and computer tasks
- Providing safe transportation in company vans when required
Every day, you'll help create a supportive, structured, and empowering environment for the individuals you serve.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid
- Experience: 1 year of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism) or mental health conditions (e.g., Bipolar) strongly preferred
- Driving Requirements:
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Must be 21+
- Current registration & insurance
- Driving record with no more than 2 points in the past 3 years
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
