VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Maintenance Technician for a leading organization in Belen, NM

This is a Full time Temp to hire opportunity

Third shift schedule is 7am - 3:30pm but you must have an open and flexible schedule

Pay for this position is $23-$28 DOE

As a maintenance technician you will:

• Determine required machine adjustments by reading job specifications
• Work on equipment stoppages, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical
• Perform routine start-up/shutdown of the equipment
• Perform routine changeovers on equipment
• Maintain inventory of assembly parts, tools and supplies for maintenance department
• QC-ensure that all products meet the company's quality specifications
• Work with production engineers in trouble shooting issues related to equipment performance.
• Assist production engineers in implementing technical corrective actions, based on customer complaints
• Follow all cGMP rules
• Monitor production machine operation to identify malfunctions
• Maintain maintenance log for all equipment
• Ensure participation and cooperation in company-implemented ESHA programs

Maintenance technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of applicable trade school, college, 6 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
• General knowledge of hand & power tools
• Advanced computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite)
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in English
• Able to work varied work hours
• Self-starter and able to make fast and accurate decisions
• Results oriented with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs. on your own
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
