K-12 Recruiter (Special Education & Support Staff)

A growing, mission-driven staffing organization is seeking a K–12 Recruiter to recruit and place high-quality school support and special education professionals in K–12 school settings across the country.

This is a high-volume recruiting role for someone who enjoys proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, and working toward hiring goals in a fast-paced staffing environment. The ideal candidate will have direct experience recruiting for school-based support and special education positions, including roles such as paraprofessionals, 1:1 aides, RBTs, BCBAs, special education teachers, and school nurses.

What You’ll Do:

• Recruit and place K–12 support and special education professionals, including 1:1 aides, paraprofessionals, RBTs, BCBAs, special education teachers, school nurses, and other school-based staff
\n
• Manage a high volume of open positions and candidates throughout the recruitment process
\n
• Source candidates through proactive outreach, job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting strategies
\n
• Screen and qualify candidates while assessing their experience, credentials, and fit for available school-based opportunities
\n
• Communicate role details, compensation, school assignments, and expectations clearly and professionally
\n
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs
\n
• Build trust-based relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process
\n
• Partner with internal teams to stay aligned on hiring priorities and open positions
\n
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS/CRM
\n

Must-Haves:

\n
• 1+ years of recruiting experience, with direct experience recruiting school-based support and/or special education professionals, such as paraprofessionals, 1:1 aides, RBTs, BCBAs, special education teachers, and school nurses.
\n
• Proven ability to recruit in a high-volume environment and consistently manage multiple openings and candidates
\n
• Strong proactive sourcing skills with the ability to build candidate pipelines beyond inbound applicants
\n
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
\n
• Ability to effectively sell opportunities and generate candidate interest in school-based roles
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
\n
• ATS/CRM experience preferred
