Job Purpose:

The Copywriter (Temp Contract) will work mainly with the Marketing team, responsible for bringing the BritBox brand to life in customer-facing creative. She/He will work with strategy and creative leaders to drive messaging across campaigns, champion and protect the BritBox brand voice, and serve as a trusted creative partner to cross-functional stakeholders. She/He will contribute to concept development from brief to execution, elevate creative standards across channels, and offer fellow creatives thoughtful feedback and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Brand voice and messaging consistency. Execute content positioning, unique selling points, and personality-driven messaging while ensuring copy stays aligned with brand voice guidelines.

Campaign creative development. Develop creative concepts, messaging, and copy for campaigns across marketing channels including OOH, paid social, paid media, radio, podcast, linear TV commercials, and trailers.

CRM marketing. Write copy to support lifecycle engagement, onboarding and activation, retention and churn prevention, and win-back and reactivation.

Performance, testing, and optimization. Use performance insights, testing results, and audience data to refine messaging and improve copy effectiveness.

Partner marketing. Provide copy for partnership campaigns across external platforms including Amazon, Apple App Store, and Google Play.

User experience. Develop copy and messaging for owned-and-operated product pages (landing pages, sign-up flows, details pages, etc) to improve user journey.

Key Proficiencies:

• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.

• Imaginative wit and sense of humor

• Ability to develop campaign concepts and translate strategic messaging into compelling, in-voice copy

• Expertise of brand consistency, conversion, engagement, and optimization

• Insight-driven approach with ability to analyze consumer research

• Strong presentation skills and confidence explaining creative rationale

• Ability to take feedback, work independently, and hit tight deadlines

• Experience with Airtable, Meta, Figma, and AI prompt writing

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience copywriting in a media, entertainment, streaming, or consumer marketing environment.

• Proven experience working on creative campaigns across multiple marketing channels from concept through execution.

• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional conceptual thinking, brand storytelling, and performance-driven copy across digital and traditional channels.

• Passion for writing, marketing, and British TV.

  
  Salary Range: up to $40/hour
