We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Farm Hand to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This position is hands-on and involves caring for farm animals, maintaining the property, and helping with day-to-day farm operations.
Responsibilities
- Feed and care for farm animals
- Rabbit care
- Manure management
- General farm cleanup and maintenance
- Move portable fencing
- Move and handle animals as needed
- Work independently as well as alongside other farm workers
- Perform additional farm duties as needed, depending on the changing seasons and farm needs
Requirements
- Previous experience working with farm animals is required
- Reliable transportation
- Must live within 15 miles of the farm
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Comfortable with physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Dependable and punctual
- References required
- Background check will be performed
This is a permanent part-time position for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working around animals and on a farm.
