In this role, you’ll provide dedicated 1 on 1 and group services, helping students develop essential social skills and navigate challenges. You’ll have a structured schedule, working Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, with extended hours until 3:00 PM on Wednesdays to collaborate with colleagues and support student needs.

Skills & Experience We Value:

• Active state license (LMSW, LSW, or LCSW) and school certification through RIDE; proof of application required if pending
• Prior experience in a school environment is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently with individual students and lead effective group sessions
• Strong understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral supports for children and adolescents
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver one-on-one counseling and group interventions for students
• Facilitate social skills groups designed for varied age and ability levels
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Serve as a vital resource and advocate for students’ social and emotional well-being
