Seeking a reliable, safety-focused  MSO Smart Hands Technician to provide onsite support across network and facility environments. This role requires broad technical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and the judgment to recognize when specialized support is required.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide smart hands support including rack/stack, cabling, fiber and copper troubleshooting, equipment replacement, and basic server/network hardware support.
• Support maintenance windows and coordinate with T-Mobile personnel, electricians, Dell technicians, and other vendors.
• Maintain day-to-day operational readiness of data center and network facilities, including basic awareness of cooling/HVAC systems.
• Assist with facility cleanup, legacy equipment removal, cabling, and general site organization.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, take ownership of problems, and escalate appropriately when work falls outside the role’s expertise.
• Oversee onsite vendors and ensure work is performed safely and according to established procedures.

DC Power Knowledge

• General understanding of -48V DC power , fuse panels/BDFBs, positive/negative feeds, voltage, and direct current.
• Ability to safely verify whether equipment is energized or de-energized.
• Understand how to safely disconnect equipment when procedures permit.
• Recognize DC power infrastructure issues and escalate to a qualified electrician or DC power specialist.
• This is not an electrician or DC power technician position. The technician will not install, repair, or troubleshoot DC power infrastructure, batteries, rectifiers, or fuse systems.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong fiber and copper troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with data center/network equipment and basic rack-and-stack activities.
• Mechanically and technically inclined with the ability to learn unfamiliar equipment.
• Highly dependable, cautious, and deliberate when working around production infrastructure.
• Self-starter who takes ownership, asks questions, and does not proceed when unsure.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple vendors and maintaining control of work occurring within the facility.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday, generally between 6:00 AM–4:00 PM .

Thursday maintenance windows may require overnight support from approximately 11:00 PM–6:00 AM .
