Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 / hour Job Summary And Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, you coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, you provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, and model a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes. Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Responds promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs and resolving them proactively. Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding. Teaches patients/families/caregivers about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and other lifestyle changes, preparing them for future self‑management. Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or current RN compact license from another state for the first 180 days of employment. Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required; ENPC & NRP certification preferred. Prior/current Emergency Room RN experience.
