Medical Writing Science Senior Manager (Hybrid)

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Medical Writing Science Senior Manager to independently author complex clinical regulatory documents and lead documentation efforts across multiple drug development programs. This hybrid position in Boston involves strategic contributions to clinical study protocols, regulatory submissions, and agency communications.
Responsibilities
- Author complex clinical regulatory documents including protocols, study reports, and investigator's brochures
- Lead medical writing efforts for complex or pivotal clinical studies across multiple programs
- Provide expert review and develop key messages for regulatory submissions
- Contribute to regulatory strategy and advisory committee presentations
- Drive process improvements and integration of new technologies across cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline
- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree
- Approximately 6 years of medical writing or related experience
- Extensive experience writing and editing clinical regulatory documents
- Advanced knowledge of drug development, clinical research, and regulatory requirements
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
Compensation: $137,200 - $205,800 base
