Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Odessa, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks | Shifts: 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (18:45–07:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• Float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of professional RN experience
• Willingness and ability to float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates within 50-mile radius are not accepted)
• Ability to meet all compliance documentation requirements prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
