Job Description Job Description Our team is seeking an EHSMANAGER in Miami. Themain role will be to ensure/provide a safe and healthy environment to contractors by ensuring compliance toEHSrules. The Manager must have experiencein railway and/or construction. The Manager is responsible for minimizing impacts on the Environment, Protect assets and reducerisks of business interruption resulting from fire and natural catastrophes. This is a long-term renewable project. Title: EHSManager - Miami Compensation: Up to $55 per hour Location: Miami, Florida Shifts: NIGHT SHIFT - 10:00PM to 6:00 AM (may require day meetings or training availability) ThisEHSManager will support Project Management in achievingEHSresults: Key responsibilities: ●PrepareEHSPlan for the project includingEHSRisk Register and Training Matrix ●EnsureEHSRisk Assessment is done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Project before starting activities ●Implement control of contractor and subcontractor process (Qualification, Onboarding, Site Supervision, Monthly performance) ●Has full authority and must stop any operational activity resulting in immediate high risk to People or Environment Ensure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated, and analysed. Implement a modified work program. Establish and communicate reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents Prepare and Implement anEHSTraining Plan and Program with the support from HR and a localEHScommunication plan Monitor in/out time of every member of the team REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications & Functional Knowledge: · Two to Five years in Environment, Health and Safety (Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in the country of operation) · Experience in railway and/or construction · Good knowledge of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO45001 · Deep Knowledge of local legal requirements · CHST Certification highly recommended · Valid Driver’s License Able to pass a criminal backgroundcheck, drug test and mustbe fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus Wear Safety Shoes Company Description Our firm focuses on providing custom placements to form a seamless fit for your company and your needs.
