About the Position

License: Current nursing license in hand required with submission. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty. - Epic charting system experience required. Description: Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift position in a telehealth unit. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Every third weekend and holidays as needed. Floating between campuses may be required. Candidates should possess acute care rehabilitation experience. Responsibilities include medication reconciliation, health history assessment, and vital sign monitoring. The nurse will perform dressing changes and assist with aseptic procedures. They will be involved in laboratory specimen collection and patient triage over the phone. The patient population includes those recovering from CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services will be essential. Candidates should be prepared for specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs, including post-operative surgical patients. Assessment and interpretation of laboratory results will also be part of the role.
