TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse required. Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by national nursing organizations. License: Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or a Compact State is required. Certifications: BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider is required. ACLS is preferred. Must-Have: Epic charting system experience is required. Description: Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in the assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed. Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans. Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments, to provide comprehensive and effective patient care. Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning. Performs other duties as assigned. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 12 patients. Patients diagnosed with respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical issues, and those requiring palliative/end-of-life care will be cared for in this unit. Routine assessments will be conducted at least every shift. Patients are expected to be physiologically stable without requiring cardiac monitoring. Certain special equipment and procedures will be utilized as necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized services such as IV teams and respiratory services.
