HVAC Service Technician III

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a senior HVAC Service Technician in Tampa, FL to provide advanced troubleshooting and service on complex commercial HVAC systems.
Drive customer retention by delivering professional service and technical solutions
Mentor junior technicians to build team capabilities and service quality
Support business growth by identifying retrofit and upgrade opportunities during service visits Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, and building controls
Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment per manufacturer specifications
Troubleshoot building automation systems and DDC controls to optimize system performance
Lead commissioning activities for new equipment installations and retrofits
Respond to emergency service calls and resolve critical HVAC failures
Review and recommend equipment replacements and system upgrades to clients
Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
Train and mentor less experienced service technicians Requirements Must-Haves
8+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
EPA Universal Certification required
Advanced knowledge of chillers, boilers, and large commercial HVAC equipment
Experience with building automation systems including Trane, Carrier, or Johnson Controls
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record Nice-to-Haves
Manufacturer certifications for major equipment brands
BAS/controls programming experience
