Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager

IREN is seeking a motivated Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction operations. This role is responsible for maintaining HSE documentation, producing reports and presentations, developing policies, coordinating with departments, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing solutions to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Degree or diploma in Health & Safety or related professional accreditation. Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in construction, utilities, electrical infrastructure, or industrial operations. Knowledge of legislation, industry best practices, and HSE systems implementation. Strong communication, influencing, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills. Understanding of construction processes and risk mitigation, particularly electrical infrastructure. Experience with HSE management systems and data‑driven decision‑making. Ability to execute plans, drive accountability, and deliver innovative solutions. Proficiency with compliance and reporting software tools. Willingness to travel to regional and prospective U.S. data center sites. Other Important Requirements Pre‑employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies. Must provide own steel‑toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied. Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
