Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Generalist certification required (must be EC-6 or 4-8)
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English strongly preferred)
• Previous experience in a special education setting
• Strong communication, adaptation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to students with a range of abilities in both English and Spanish
• Develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Track student progress and provide documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and accommodations to support learning
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as assigned
