Accounting Specialist Contractor (Accounts Payable/Broker Commissions) – Full-Time Contract – HybridOur client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist Contractor to provide temporary support from July through December 2026. This role will initially focus on Accounts Payable through early October before expanding to include Broker Commissions responsibilities for the remainder of the assignment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in high-volume AP processing. Previous commission administration experience, particularly within the insurance or healthcare industry, is highly preferred.JOB DETAILSFull-time contract assignment from July through December 2026Hybrid schedule: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; remote Monday and FridayPay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experienceDowntown office with an attached parking ramp; parking is company-paid with validated ticketsTHE RIGHT STAFF offers healthcare benefits, paid vacation, and referral bonusesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage the Accounts Payable shared inbox and respond to daily inquiries.Process vendor invoices using Concur and NetSuite, including reviewing approvals and following up with internal teams.Maintain vendor records by processing new vendor setups, vendor packets, and retrieving invoices from vendor portals.Support general vendor account administration as needed.Process broker commissions beginning in October, including supporting commission payments and maintaining accurate commission records.Assist with monthly commission processing, compliance checks, reporting, and related calculations as needed.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all work, meeting established deadlines.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice, payment, and commission issues.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAssociate's degree or higher in Accounting or equivalent training.2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, disbursements, or commission processing experience preferred.Previous Accounts Payable experience required.Prior commission administration experience strongly preferred.Insurance or healthcare industry experience preferred.Experience using Concur and NetSuite required; experience with PeopleSoft, RCST, BSP, and SCORE is a plus.Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.APPLY NOW!Send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io position requires successful completion of a background check, drug test, and ongoing monthly healthcare sanction screenings, including:OIG – Office of Inspector GeneralDMF – Death Master FileMDH – Minnesota Department of HealthSAM – System for Award ManagementWe thank all interested candidates.
