Registered Nurse - Operating Room (General Surgery)

Location: Minot, ND

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts would vary between 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Call is required for one weekday per week and parts of 1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Operating Room within a level 2 trauma center. The candidate must be capable of handling various surgical specialties, excluding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment.
Assist with the preparation and administration of surgical procedures.
Function effectively in a surgical team setting while ensuring optimal patient care.
Utilize Cerner for electronic documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with no hits.
Strong travel experience is preferred.
Experience with Cerner documentation systems is required.
Ability to operate across all specialties in the OR, except specified exclusions.
