Technical WriterDuration: 12 Months (CTH)Location: Houston, TXThis is a W2 role that requires the candidate to be onsite for 2-3 days in a week.Skills:Technical WriterOn-Line DocumentingWriting skillsMS OfficeTyping SkillsAdditional skills:Technical Writing certification or computer science background preferred.Strong understanding of IT constructs and terminology, especially as it relates to back-end infrastructure management and SRE/DevOps spaces.Passionate about technical writing as a career and energized by a fast paced environment and effectively manages multiple tasks to success.Exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills. Strong organization and time management.Familiarity with technical writing standards and style guides.Experience with mark-up languages such as DITA, HTML, XML, CSS.Experience with Data Protection applications such as Veritas NetBackup, Cohesity or similar vendors/applications a plus.Experience with APIs and scripting/programming (Python, Java, shell scripting) a plus.
