Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Technical Product Specialist (Inside Sales) for an innovative aerospace and industrial technology manufacturing client. This is a hybrid opportunity based in the Greater Providence, Rhode Island area. Position Overview Our client is seeking a Technical Product Specialist (Inside Sales) to serve as a technical resource for customers and the outside sales team by providing product guidance, application support, quotations, and order coordination. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical aptitude who enjoys helping customers solve complex challenges while working with advanced test and measurement technologies. Prepare quotations, qualify inbound opportunities, maintain CRM records, and support the sales process from inquiry through order fulfillment. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and outside sales teams to deliver technical solutions and exceptional customer support. Assist with product demonstrations, proposal preparation, customer‑facing materials, and trade show support. Provide technical product guidance while escalating complex engineering inquiries as needed. Build strong customer relationships by delivering responsive technical support and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Qualifications Experience supporting technical products within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, electronics, or technical support environment. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex products and technical specifications. Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with test and measurement equipment, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, engineering support, or technical manufacturing is highly preferred.
