Sr. Corporate Development Associate, Investment Strategy (onsite)

Senior Associate in Corporate Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Waltham headquarters supporting M&A strategy, transaction execution, and competitive analysis across global business units. Onsite role with hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support M&A strategy objectives by identifying, tracking, and evaluating acquisition opportunities
• Build and present financial models including valuation analysis and pro forma M&A assessments
• Lead due diligence processes and support all phases of transaction execution and integration planning
• Conduct industry and competitive research using SEC filings, Wall Street reports, and market data to support leadership
• Develop and communicate strategic rationale for M&A initiatives to secure corporate leadership approval

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, science, or technical field
• 4+ years M&A, Strategic Planning, or investment banking/consulting experience; or MBA with 3+ years corporate development experience
• Strong financial analysis and valuation expertise with solid understanding of financial statements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for modeling and presentations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and work with senior executives under pressure
