Interventional Radiology Technician Opportunity

Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support a fast-paced hospital unit specializing in advanced imaging and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, efficiency, and a commitment to patient care excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures using GE Single Plane and Bi-Plane equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Collaborate with medical staff to prepare patients and assist during complex procedures.
• Document procedures accurately in the Meditech system and maintain detailed patient records.
• Support unit policies, including rapid response times and equipment safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess active R.T.(R) (ARRT) certification and SCRQSA registry validation.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of Interventional or Neuro radiology experience.
• Show ability to respond within 30 minutes when on-call.
• Possess strong knowledge of procedures such as EVAR, Stroke, Aneurysm Coiling, and Port placements.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold hospital policies and dress code.
