Are you ready to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a dynamic team? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Material Handler in San Diego, CA. Under direct supervision, you will be responsible for processing daily distribution tasks, which include loading, unloading, moving/transferring, and transacting materials to support in-plant logistics. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as you complete transactions and fulfill requests for the receipt, delivery, and shipment of all goods. You'll operate in a cGMP environment, adhering to strong inventory management practices and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Essential Functions
- Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct physical counts of inventory and transport materials between departments, facilities, and/or production floors.
- Operate warehouse vehicles, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in narrow aisles and cold storage facilities.
- Follow all standard operation procedures and GMP guidelines.
- Participate in the effective training of other employees.
- Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and materials.
- Steel-toed boots required on the first day.
Preferences
- Experience operating warehouse vehicles.
- Familiarity with cGMP environments and inventory management practices.
Work Schedule: 2nd shift - 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday
