Job Opportunity Shift Details Schedule: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM) Targeted Start Dates: November 2nd or November 16th Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics, along with experience in the Emergency Department.
- Current certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in North Carolina is required prior to starting work.
- Experience in a Level IV NICU
- Proficiency with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators
- Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies
- Weekend shifts: 6 required per schedule, which is published in 6-week blocks.
- Orientation takes place bi-weekly.
- Flu vaccinations are mandatory-no exemptions or declinations accepted.
- Candidates must successfully pass an EKG/Telemetry exam during orientation.
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, and Adults
- Daily Census: Approximately 185 patients
- Interdisciplinary team support includes IV teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Social Services.
