Job Title: Physician - Neonatology (Permanent)

Location: Wichita, KS

Job Description:

A well-established Neonatology practice in Wichita, KS is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider interested in a collaborative, team-based care model with a strong focus on quality improvement and professional growth.

Position Highlights:

Full-time permanent position
8-physician group
Combination of 8- and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule
Approximately 170 hours/month of in-house coverage for a 1.0 FTE
In-house call with additional backup call from home
60-bed Level III NICU
Approx. 6,000 deliveries annually
Around 1,000 admissions per year across intensive and special care units
Average daily NICU census: 54
Comprehensive services provided (excluding ECMO and heart surgery)
Supported by residents and nurse practitioners
Affiliated with an academic medical program, offering opportunities for research and quality improvement initiatives
Open to new fellowship graduates (must be BC in Pediatrics)
J-1 and H-1B visa candidates welcome
Locum tenens candidates not accepted
