This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer who has built scalable automation platforms for large-scale infrastructure and understands modern data center networking from both a software and networking perspective. You’ll work alongside Network Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Security teams to automate provisioning, simplify operations, and build self-service networking capabilities that support global infrastructure. This is a hands‑on technical role with significant ownership, from architecture through production deployment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain network automation frameworks for provisioning and lifecycle management across global infrastructure. Build scalable automation solutions using Python and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices. Develop tooling with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2. Design and build APIs that expose networking capabilities through self‑service platforms. Implement monitoring, telemetry, and observability solutions to improve network health and reliability. Partner with Network, Platform, and Security Engineering teams on scalable infrastructure initiatives. Lead technical design discussions and influence long‑term automation architecture. Own projects from design through implementation and production support. Participate in an on‑call rotation, incident response, and root cause analysis. Required Qualifications Strong background spanning both software engineering and network engineering. Expert‑level Python programming skills with solid software engineering fundamentals. Experience with: REST APIs Git and code reviews Automated testing Hands‑on experience with: Ansible Terraform Strong understanding of:

TCP/IP

DNS Network Security Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with: Secrets management Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability, resiliency, and microservices. Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects to completion. Preferred Qualifications Experience with relational, NoSQL, or graph databases. Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event‐driven architectures. Familiarity with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper networking platforms. Strong routing and switching expertise including: BGP OSPF VRFs VLANs ACLs Firewalls Segment Routing Experience applying AI/ML to infrastructure automation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, or automated remediation. Contributions to open‑source networking or automation projects.
