Permanent Intermittent employees are paid hourly and are limited to 1500 hours per calendar year.
Duties: The incumbent supports Emergency Preparedness Branch activities in program, project, contract, and resource management; Physical Security; and communications and coordination. This position requires incumbent to work cooperatively with others; maintain consistent and regular predictable attendance; exercise good judgment; possess good written and oral communication skills; support change by communicating Department policy, procedures and instructions on emergency preparedness, response, and recovery, as well as physical security activities to unify the organization while meeting regulatory compliance; and stay abreast of best practices.
