What we do impacts the future of technology, and in turn, the way we live our lives tomorrow.Position OverviewThe Human Resources (HR) Intern provides an opportunity for a college student and/or an individual seeking to gain hands-on HR experience. This position provides daily support to the HR function and handles a variety of people related duties. The HR Intern will gain meaningful experience by assisting with people related projects as needed. The anticipated schedule is Monday-Wednesday/Thursday 9-5.Key Responsibilities Assists with day-to-day HR duties; under direction and guidance from Manager, Human Resources and Head of Human ResourcesAssists with projects, systems, compliance activities, and related people activitiesWorks with talent acquisition including preparing and posting job advertisements, screening applications, arranging and conducting interviews, and sending offer paperworkUtilizes current HR/Payroll systems to enter employee transactions and updatesCommunicates via phone, email and written documentation; responds to employees requestsScans/uploads all employee documents and manage employee filesMaintains confidentiality of employee records and protected informationSkills and AttributesDesire to learn the Human Resources functionFlexibility to grow with the position and adapt to changesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of employeesAbility to maintain confidentialityStrong organizational, time management and multitasking abilitiesExperience and QualificationsHuman Resources exposure preferred or certificate program, or Associate/Bachelor degreeOutstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience is required)Possess a strong work-ethic, detailed oriented, analytical, organized, and able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environmentWorking Conditions/Physical & Mental DemandsThe physical demands and working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
