Mexican Bar Company in Plano, TX is looking for a personable/outgoing bartender to join our strong team and growing brand. Although we will train specifically to our style, we are looking for someone with at least 5yrs hospitality and service experience and a minimum of 2 plus years Bartending. We are also expanding with a concept called Centro on the Square in Historic Downtown McKinney this March and opening Mexican Bar Company 2 in Allen in March/April 2026. This is just the beginning and this could be a long term oppurtuniety for the right person looking for a home.

We are located at the Restaurant District at Willow Bend off of the Tollway at 6121 W Park Blvd (Best to search through mexbars.com). Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, engaged, fun and ready to go on day one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• On occation, check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
